    Ice-Trapinch
    Type: Ice and Ground
Physiology: Ice-Trapinch is a blueish white, bug-like Pokémon with a large jaw. Ice-Trapinch has a roundish body with a white underside and short, stump-like legs. Trapinch has a big head in proportion to the rest of its body with ice-like antennas. Despite resembling an insect and being covered in ice, Ice-Trapinch is also a Ground-type.

Special Ablities: Ice-Trapinch's main weapon is its jaws, which can crush boulders. It's ice antennas help control ice. Ice-Trapinch are also known for their ice digging skills. Ice-Trapinch is one of the few non-legendary unevolved Pokémon that can learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact. Trapinch can also go a whole week without access to any water, because it's body is made of ice, it can provide it's self with water.

Behavior: Ice-Trapinch are patient Pokémon; despite this, they are avid hunters. After building pits in the ice, they patiently await for their prey to fall. Because Ice-Trapinch's head is so big, it finds getting upright if tipped onto its back difficult.

Habitat: Ice-Trapinch live in cold areas that have much ice and snow. Ice-Trapinch's nest is a deep, inescapable pit dug in the ice or snow. Ice-Trapinch have also been known to burrow complex tunnels deep underground, however they can sense ice so they don't burrow into the water and drown themselves.

Diet: Ice-Trapinch, are normally fed Pokemon food for Ice or ground Pokemon by trainers, however wild Ice-Trapinch feed on their prey, which is usually Smoochum, Swinub or Spheal.

    Species: Ice ant

Ablities: Ice Body and Snow Cloak

    Height: 2'04'' (0.7 m)
    Weight: 33.1 lbs (15.0 kg)

    Colordex: Blue

Gender Ratio: 50% male and 50% female

    Pokedex entries:
Ruby: Ice-Trapinch's nest is a sloped, bowl-like pit dug in ice. This Pokémon patiently waits for prey to tumble down the pit. Its giant jaws have enough strength to crush even rock solid ice.

Sapphire: Ice-Trapinch is a patient hunter. It digs an inescapable pit in the arctic and waits for its prey to come tumbling down. This Pokémon can go a whole week without access to any water.

Emerald: Its big jaws crunch through Ice. Because its head is so big, it has a hard time getting back upright if it tips over onto its back.

LeafGreen: It lives in the freezing arctic. It makes a sloping pit trap in the ice where it patiently awaits prey.

Diamond: It makes a conical pit in the arctic ice and lies in wait at the bottom for prey to come tumbling down.
